Luck was on our side the day of Emily and Ethan’s wedding. Storms were in the forecast and it was raining pretty good when Emily and Ethan decided they still wanted to have their first look in the spot they had picked out, a family friend’s property overlooking Lake Champlain – the rain did not matter to them. On our way to the first look, the rain magically stopped and we even saw some blue poking out of the sky. Their adorable pug, Eddy, pretty much stole the show during their first look and portraits. We were fortunate and the rain held off for most of the day. The ceremony and reception took place at Emily’s uncle’s property in Monkton, Vermont. Their family had worked on creating an intimate setting nestled in the woods for the ceremony space, and it was beautiful. The reception was a short walk through the field under a tent, with tents set up for camping nearby. Congratulations, Emily and Ethan!
