When you plan your wedding, you try to account for all the unexpected surprises that might come up, like bad weather. But, in Micky’s words, “sometimes life just gets you.” When we arrived to photograph Micky getting ready we learned that Micky was sick – on her wedding day of all days! Fortunately she started feeling much better in time for her hilarious first look in a T-Rex costume, a surprise we were all excited about. We loved Tom’s reaction, a genuine “what the…” moment if you’ve ever seen one. The ceremony was beautiful – snow fell as Micky walked down the aisle, her mom officiated, and sure it was chilly, like winter should be, but guests were bundled up and it wasn’t long before they could make their way inside to the warm tavern for cocktail hour while Micky and Tom snuggled up for a post-ceremony sleigh ride. The reception was warm and inviting, with a sing-a-long for Micky’s dad’s toast and music from The Sugarbabies keeping guests out on the dance floor. Even though Micky had to duck out early due to not feeling well, the party carried on and everyone celebrated for her and Tom! Congratulations, Micky and Tom!
