Josh grew up in Long Island and central Connecticut before attending the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York where he graduated with a degree in photojournalism. Since graduating, Josh has worked for the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Massachusetts, Magnum Photos in South Dakota, The Baltimore Sun in Maryland, The New York Stock Exchange in New York City, and Bates College in Maine.
Josh currently lives in Montpelier and works as a staff photographer for the Barre-Montpelier Times Argus newspaper. He lives with his partner, Emily, and their two Maine Coon cats, Rupert and Ralph, and their french bulldog, Julian.
Josh's strengths in narrative and documentary photography transition perfectly to weddings. His goal is to tell the story of your day as inconspicuously as possible and believes that weddings present some of the best opportunities for intimate, storytelling photography.
