The previous story titled "Blessings" was of Jenny's & Brad's struggle and eventual gift of starting a family. The photograph here was one of the final images we took during our three hours together. Driving to their home, I was inspired by the landscape and their story, so this image was one I needed to create. The stark contrast of the barren landscape and Jenny's belly; the vision of hope and contentment as she looks to the sun and away from brittle tree; the flight of her garment reminding us that life is chaotic yet beautiful.
